The Electronic Arts music department brand was developed while working at Eat, aiming to empower the team behind some of the biggest games worldwide soundtracks. The visual solution we needed should be powerful and simple, being able to align with EA guidelines while also connecting with every segment of their audience — from hardcore to classical music listeners. The solution? A mutable symbol that works as a metaphor to the very nature of music: it can be soft and delicate, and then become loud and vibrant in a blink.
